How do I get my page’s HTML?
In a desktop browser, open your page, right-click and select View page source. Copy the source here. For a dynamic app, exported source may omit content generated by JavaScript. Use a rendered-page auditing tool for that content.

All toolsFrequently asked questions
Does this certify WCAG compliance?
No. Static HTML checks cover only part of accessibility. A clean result cannot certify WCAG conformance or replace testing with people and assistive technology.
Which issues can a source check find?
Supported checks inspect markup signals such as missing image alternatives, page language, form labels and accessible names. Context-sensitive cases still need human review.
Can it test color contrast or keyboard navigation?
No. The checker does not render your page or load styles and scripts. Contrast, focus visibility, keyboard flow, dynamic states and screen-reader behavior require separate manual or browser-based testing.
Should every image have a written description?
No. Informative images need an appropriate alternative, while a purely decorative image can correctly use an empty alt attribute. Decide based on the image purpose in its actual context.
